Immigration Panel Physicians In Scarborough
Scarborough is one of the largest and most diverse districts in Toronto. It’s also one of the best places for new Canadians to start their next chapter. The neighbourhood’s multiculturalism means that immigrants from around the world can easily find their community.
There are a wealth of stores, restaurants, and religious organizations run by or for people of every culture. According to the 2016 census, 30% of Scarborough’s population are recent immigrants, and 31% are first-generation Canadians. That means 61% of Scarborough residents are new Canadians, or their children are.
The neighbourhood’s two most attractive features are lower-cost housing and accessible public transportation. Many other districts in Toronto lack both, making Scarborough a top choice for people seeking one or both of those features.
If you’ve decided to join the Scarborough community, you must receive an immigration medical exam from a panel physician. New residents, temporary workers, and students who will be staying in Canada for more than six months need this exam.
Immigration Medical Toronto provides easy access to immigration medical exams for people in the Scarborough area.

Each clinic provides multiple procedures so you can get everything done in one visit. If there is a reason why you cannot complete every procedure at your appointment, we’re happy to help you defer it to a better time. A deferral should not affect your ability to come to Canada.
After your appointment, we will send the results directly to the IRCC, saving you time. Purchasing a copy of your exam results for $20.00 CAD is optional. However, we will provide your medical information sheet to prove you took the exam for free.

Each appointment begins with a questionnaire and a comprehensive physical exam. We will weigh you, check your mobility, skin condition, blood pressure, and other standard procedures before we conduct the blood, urine, and x-ray tests.
Chest X-Rays
Everyone ages 11 and up needs a chest x-ray. Our panel physicians will consult you about the risks of an x-ray if you’re pregnant. You have the right to defer this procedure until after your pregnancy if you choose.
Urine Tests
Everyone aged five years and older must take a urine test. Menstruation won’t affect the results. You don’t need to defer your urine test if you’re currently menstruating. Please drink fluids before your appointment so you can provide a sufficient sample.
Blood Tests
Anyone over the age of 15 needs a blood test. You do not need to fast before this procedure. Please wear a loose-fitting top to help us easily locate a blood vessel.
